No project changes a kitchen faster per dollar than a backsplash. It’s also the tile everyone sees from three feet away, every day — which means crooked cuts around outlets and wavy lines have nowhere to hide. Backsplashes are precision work, and they’re one of our favorite jobs to do in Woodstock kitchens.
Styles we install
- Classic subway — running bond, stacked, or vertical; timeless with every cabinet color.
- Herringbone & chevron — pattern layouts planned so the point lands centered behind your range.
- Mosaics & glass — sheets set flat without the “quilted” look cheap installs get.
- Ledger stone & picket — texture and character for feature walls and hood surrounds.
- Full-height splashes — counter to ceiling behind the range for a designer look.
The details that separate a pro backsplash
Outlets pulled and re-set flush so cover plates sit flat. Cuts tucked under cabinets and behind appliances. Caulk — not grout — where tile meets counters and cabinets, so nothing cracks when the house moves. Edges finished with clean metal profiles or bullnose, never a raw tile edge.
Picked your tile already? Great — send us a photo with the form and rough counter length. Still deciding? We’ll point you to combinations that work and the local showrooms we trust.
